Discount codes
Create discount codes (fixed amount or percentage) with a validity period, a minimum amount and a usage limit.
Updated July 2026
Discount codes let you grant a reduction to your customers at the time of booking. You set the amount of the discount, its validity period and its conditions; the customer enters the code in your module and the reduction is automatically applied to the price of their ride.
Adding a discount code
In the Discount codes section, click New discount code, fill in the fields below, then confirm with Add. The code then appears in your list and becomes usable by your customers.
A discount code must include at least one reduction: a fixed amount or a percentage. If neither value is filled in, the record is rejected (“At least one discount must be indicated!”).
The fields of a discount code
- Code — the text your customers will enter when booking (for example
WELCOME10). It can contain up to 32 characters, with no spaces. Each code must be unique: if the name already exists, creation is rejected. - Fixed reduction amount — a reduction of a set amount, expressed in your currency (for example €10 taken off the price).
- Discount percentage — a reduction proportional to the ride price (for example 10%).
- Start date — the date from which the code becomes valid. Optional: left blank, the code is valid immediately.
- End date — the date beyond which the code is no longer valid. Optional: left blank, the code never expires.
- Minimum ride amount — the code only applies if the ride amount reaches this threshold. Leave blank to impose no minimum.
- Maximum usage — the maximum number of possible uses of this code. Leave blank to impose no limit.
- Vehicle — the vehicle the code applies to. Choose All vehicles to apply it across your whole fleet, or a specific vehicle to reserve it for that one model.
How a discount code works
- Your customer estimates their ride, then enters the discount code in the dedicated field of your booking module.
- The module checks that the code is active, within its validity period, that it has not reached its usage limit and that the ride exceeds any minimum amount.
- If everything is in order, the reduction is applied to the displayed price and the customer sees the amount of the discount (“Discount code successfully applied!”).
- Otherwise, the code is rejected: it is flagged as expired or invalid, or only applicable from a certain amount if the minimum threshold is not reached.
In the list, the Usage column shows the usage counter in the form used / maximum. A dash (~) means no limit is set.
Editing, enabling, deleting
From the list, each discount code can be edited, enabled/disabled or deleted.
- When editing, the code, the fixed amount and the percentage can no longer be changed: they are set at creation. You can, however, adjust the dates, the minimum amount, the maximum usage and the vehicle concerned.
- Disabling a code makes it temporarily unusable without deleting it; you can re-enable it later.
- Deleting a code removes it permanently.
Special cases
- Inconsistent dates — if the end date is earlier than the start date, the record is rejected.
- Code without a reduction — a code must always carry a reduction (fixed amount or percentage), otherwise it cannot be created.
- Threshold not reached — if the ride does not reach the minimum amount, the customer is informed that the code applies from that amount and the reduction is not granted.
