Options

Options are paid extras that your customers can add to their booking: child seat, extra luggage, pet transport, water bottle, and more. Each option has its own icon, maximum quantity and price per unit, which is automatically added to the trip fare.

Adding an option

In the Options section, click New option, fill in the fields below, then confirm with Add. The option then appears in your booking module.

The fields of an option

• Name — the label shown to your customers (e.g. “Child seat”, “Extra luggage”, “Pet”).
• Icon — a pictogram associated with the option, chosen from the built-in library, so it can be identified at a glance in the form.
• Vehicle — the vehicle the option applies to. Choose All vehicles to offer it across your whole fleet, or a specific vehicle to limit it to that one.
• Maximum quantity — the maximum number of units the customer can select for this option. Enter 0 for no limit.
• Price per quantity — the price per unit of the option. It is multiplied by the quantity chosen by the customer, then added to the trip fare.

How an option works

When a customer fills in your form, they can add the available options and, if you allow it, choose the desired quantity. The amount is calculated as follows:

Option amount = Price per quantity × Quantity chosen

This amount is added to the trip fare (vehicle or package calculation, surcharges included). For example, a “Child seat” option at €5 with a chosen quantity of 2 adds €10 to the total price.

Managing your options

From the list, each option can be:

• Edited — adjust its name, icon, vehicle, maximum quantity or price.
• Copied — duplicate an existing option to quickly create a variant.
• Enabled / disabled — a disabled option no longer appears in the form, without being deleted.
• Deleted — remove the option permanently.

You can also reorder your options by drag and drop: the order of the list matches the display order in your module.

Special cases

An option linked to All vehicles is offered regardless of the vehicle chosen by the customer. An option linked to a single vehicle only appears when that vehicle is selected in the form.
