Privacy Policy
Updated juillet 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the clickchauffeur.com website, the ClickChauffeur booking application and the booking module that Taxi / PHV drivers embed on their own site. It describes the purposes, legal bases, retention periods, our providers and the rights available to you.
Data controller
The ClickChauffeur service is operated by WebAudit France SARL.
- Registered office: 245 rue du Marais, 73190 Challes-les-Eaux, France
- RCS Chambéry 823 628 698 — SIRET 82362869800032
- Personal data contact: support@clickchauffeur.com
Scope
This policy covers:
- the clickchauffeur.com showcase website;
- the app.clickchauffeur.com management and booking application;
- the booking module (widget or direct link) that each driver embeds on their own site.
Depending on the context, WebAudit France SARL acts either as data controller (showcase website, driver accounts, subscription billing) or as data processor on behalf of the driver when a traveller makes a booking through the module. In the latter case, the driver is responsible for their customers’ data.
Data we collect
Drivers (ClickChauffeur accounts)
- Identity and contact: last name, first name, e-mail, phone, company name.
- Account and configuration data: vehicles, packages, options, surcharges, promo codes, booking fields, account settings.
- Subscription billing: chosen plan (Free, Monthly or Annual), billing history. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store bank card numbers.
- Technical data: connection logs, usage and security data.
Travellers (bookings via the module)
- Contact details: name, e-mail, phone.
- Trip details: pickup and destination addresses, date and time, options, comments.
- Online payment data: when the driver has enabled online payment (paid plans only), the payment is processed by Stripe. The Free plan does not offer online payment: the traveller pays the driver directly.
- Technical data: logs and security events.
Purposes and legal bases
- Providing and delivering the service (driver account, taking and managing bookings) — performance of the contract.
- Billing the subscription and keeping the accounts — legal obligation and performance of the contract.
- Ensuring security, preventing fraud and improving the service — legitimate interest.
- Responding to your support requests — legitimate interest / performance of the contract.
- Sending commercial communications to non-customer prospects — consent, withdrawable at any time.
Encryption and security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption of personal data, encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls, logging, environment segregation and regular backups.
Providers (processors)
We rely on providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that comply with the GDPR:
-
Stripe — payment processing (subscriptions and, on paid plans, traveller payments).
-
Brevo — sending transactional e-mails and, where applicable, commercial communications.
-
ITACWT LIMITED (2 Cruise Park Rise, Dublin 15 Tyrrelstown, Ireland) — hosting of the clickchauffeur.com website.
-
OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59053 Roubaix, France) — hosting of the ClickChauffeur application.
Transfers outside the European Union
When a provider processes data outside the European Union, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, supplemented where necessary by additional measures.
Retention periods
- Prospects / contact forms: up to 3 years after the last meaningful contact.
- Driver accounts: for the duration of the contract, then up to 3 years.
- Accounting and billing records: 10 years (legal obligation).
- Booking data: kept according to the needs of the service and the instructions of the driver concerned.
- Security logs: up to 12 months.
Cookies
The showcase website is designed to limit the use of trackers: fonts are self-hosted and we avoid requests to non-essential third-party services. Cookies or trackers subject to consent are only placed after your agreement, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent (without affecting processing already carried out).
To exercise these rights, write to support@clickchauffeur.com. If you are a traveller and your data was collected through a driver’s booking module, address your request directly to that driver (data controller); we will assist them as a processor.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or to the applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
