Cookie Policy
Updated July 2026
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed and stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website or use an online service. It is used, among other things, to remember your preferences, to ensure the service works properly and, where applicable, to measure its audience.
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by WebAudit France SARL, publisher of the clickchauffeur.com website and of the ClickChauffeur service (online booking module for taxis, private-hire vehicles and passenger carriers).
The cookies we use
We designed ClickChauffeur to keep the use of cookies to the strict minimum. The marketing site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies for marketing purposes, and relies on no external resources to display its pages (fonts are hosted locally).
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to the operation of the website and the service. They cannot be disabled from our interfaces without degrading your experience. They do not require your prior consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cc_lang | Remembers the language you selected (French, English, Spanish) to redirect you to the right version of the site. | Up to 12 months |
| Application session cookie | Keeps your session open and secure when you are logged in to your driver account on app.clickchauffeur.com. | Duration of the session |
Third-party cookies related to payment
When you subscribe to a paid plan, or when a traveller pays for a booking online, the payment is processed securely by our provider Stripe. Stripe may set cookies necessary for processing the transaction and for fraud prevention on the payment pages.
- To find out more, see Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
Reminder: the Free plan does not include online payment. No Stripe-related cookie is set if you do not use this feature.
What we do not do
- We take no commission on your bookings, and we do not track your business activity for advertising purposes.
- The marketing site includes no advertising cookies and no third-party social network cookies.
- Transactional e-mails (booking confirmations, notifications) are sent through our provider Brevo. Opening an e-mail may, depending on your mail client, trigger the loading of a tracking pixel; this relates to the e-mail itself and not to cookies set while you browse the site.
Your personal data
The personal data collected as part of the service (drivers and travellers) is hosted securely and encrypted. The use of cookies described here does not replace our privacy policy, which sets out all the data processing carried out by ClickChauffeur.
Managing your preferences
You can control and delete the cookies stored on your device at any time by configuring your browser. Each browser offers different settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
You can also set your browser to refuse all or part of the cookies. However, deleting or blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website and your driver account from working properly (for example, remembering your language or keeping you signed in).
Changes to this policy
This cookie policy may be amended at any time to reflect changes to the service or to the applicable regulations. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page. We encourage you to review it regularly.
