1) Who we are

2) Scope

  • The website clickchauffeur.com (all languages);
  • The signup and service interfaces: member.clickchauffeur.com and app.clickchauffeur.com;
  • The booking widget our Taxi and Private Driver customers embed on their websites.

3) Our role (controller / processor)

On clickchauffeur.com, we act as a data controller (lead generation, support, billing, analytics, marketing).
For the booking widget used by our customers (Taxis and Private Driver), we act as a data processor on their behalf; they remain responsible for their passengers’ data. We process this data only to provide and maintain the service, as per the contract.

4) Data we collect

4.1. On clickchauffeur.com (and our interfaces)

  • Identity & contact: first name, last name, email, phone, company.
  • Contract & billing: subscribed plan, history, payment methods (via Stripe).
  • Support: content of the messages you send us.
  • Browsing: pages viewed, device, IP/online identifiers according to your consent choices.
  • Cookies/trackers: audience measurement (Google Analytics), marketing (e.g., TikTok), preferences.

4.2. In the booking widget (processing on behalf of our customers)

  • Passenger: name, email, phone.
  • Trip: addresses, date/time, options, comments.
  • Payment: information processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers).
  • Technical: application logs, security events.

5) Purposes & legal bases

  • Providing the service, account creation, booking management, support: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Billing & legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Improvement & statistics: legitimate interests (audience measurement under consent where required).
  • Prospecting/marketing: consent for emails/SMS to non-customers and for marketing cookies/IDs (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Security & abuse prevention: legitimate interests / legal obligations.

6) Cookies, trackers & consent

We use the GDPR Cookie Compliance (CCPA ready) plugin to inform you and to collect, record and manage your
prior consent for non-essential trackers, in line with GDPR/ePrivacy and Google’s requirements.

We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent to the relevant purposes,
consent signals are sent and Google tags adjust their behaviour (measurement/ads).
Advertising features require appropriate consent.

7) Retention periods

  • Leads / contact forms: 3 years after the last meaningful contact.
  • Accounts & customers: contract term + 3 years.
  • Accounting records: 10 years (legal obligation).
  • Booking data (processor role): according to the instructions of the customer (controller); otherwise, for the time necessary to provide the service, then securely archived.
  • Security logs: up to 12 months.
  • Cookies/IDs: depending on category and your consent (via the preferences panel).

8) Recipients & processors

  • Website hosting: OVH SAS (France/EU).
  • Application hosting: OVH SAS (France/EU).
  • Hosting of member.clickchauffeur.com: ITACWT LIMITED (Ireland).
  • Payments: Stripe (payment processing, fraud prevention).
  • Analytics & ads: Google Analytics/Google Ads (via Consent Mode v2).
  • Marketing: TikTok (if you consent).
  • Mapping: Google Maps Platform for address/routing entry in the widget.

These providers process data on our behalf under our instructions and contractual safeguards (confidentiality, security, GDPR).

8 bis) Sharing & disclosure of Google user data

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose Google user data to third parties for their own commercial purposes.
Google user data is only shared in the following limited cases:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf: we may share Google user data with trusted providers strictly necessary to operate our services (e.g. hosting providers, payment processors, analytics and security services), under written agreements ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
  • Legal obligations: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • Security & rights: when necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our users, or the public.
  • User consent: if you explicitly consent to such sharing in a given context.

Outside of these limited cases, no Google user data is disclosed, transferred, or communicated to any third party.

9) Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Where certain providers operate outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
or another valid transfer mechanism, with supplementary measures where necessary.

10) Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (access controls, encryption in transit, backups, logging, segregation), aligned with regulator recommendations.

11) Your rights (GDPR)

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability,
as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time (no retroactive effect).
You can also set post-mortem instructions. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

12) Children’s data

Our services are intended for professionals and adults. If a minor has provided data to us, please contact us for deletion.
